Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

The Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS) is a significant government initiative launched in the United Kingdom aimed at improving the energy efficiency of homes across the nation. The primary goal of the GBIS is to help households, particularly those in lower-income brackets and vulnerable groups, to better insulate their homes. Improved insulation can significantly reduce energy consumption, leading to lower energy bills and a reduced carbon footprint. Learn More.

The ECO4 scheme is the fourth phase of the UK government’s Energy Company Obligation (ECO) initiative, aimed at improving the energy efficiency of homes. Launched in 2022 and running until 2026, ECO4 focuses on helping low-income and vulnerable households reduce their energy bills and carbon emissions by offering free or subsidized energy-saving measures such as insulation, heat pumps, solar panels and high heat retention storage heaters.
